Default Calendar and Contacts dont seem to sync

I have Zimbra Desktop rc2 version (connecting to an OSS Zimbra server - recent release) installed on several linux systems and on none of them, even with previous ZD versions, can I get the calendar and contacts to sync and be available when properly offline.

Email sync works fine on as many accounts as I like.

Is this currently intended/expected behaviour or have I got something wrong?

definitely not intended. it should be able to sync everything. can you attach log/zdesktop.log after manually click on Send/Receive?

what version of your OSS Zimbra Server? any errors there in log/mailbox.log ?

Default I have similar issue w Yahoo Mail Accounts

I reported last week that I was unable to use Yahoo Calendar (and started watching that thread) But as of yesterday sometime (first noticed) I lost my ability to sync Contacts also.

I'm getting the same "Failure communicating with Remote Server, please try again". The E-mail is working fine, as are folders. But both Calendar and Contacts & Groups will no longer sync. I tried the "Reset" option in setup which did delete and resync Mail and Folders, but no joy on the contacts.

I have to say (although this is NOT aimed at the Zimbra team itself) discovering that there's no real interaction between teams on the Yahoo Mail Services side and the Zimbra team makes it reflect on the overall Yahoo Organization pretty poorly.

I've steered small biz clients to Yahoo services for a long time, but the last year has been rocky on many fronts at Yahoo, this is yet another.
