Gmail IMAP not deleting from server

I have setup my gmail account with Zimbra Desktop and let it sync for the first time. I have it set to then sync every minute so as not to miss new e-mail. I have deleted some e-mail as well as deleted my trash. I waited about 5 minutes and it still didn't delete from gmail. Why is Zimbra Desktop not deleting or updating data with gmail.com?

The delete problem was fixed by a update. It just takes a few minutes to be updated at the server.
