Default Installation on more than one computer

I am new here on this forum - by minutes. Excuse me if this turns out to be a question that was already addressed here

Can I install Yahoo ZIMBRA on more than one computer? I would like to have it set up on both of my laptops. I have a spare one in case my primary one craps out.

Thanks

By Yahoo Zimbra, do you mean the Zimbra Desktop for offline mail etc, or do you mean the mail server itself?

Anyways, for Zimbra Desktop, you can have it as many places as you want.

For the Zimbra server, it can ofcourse be done as a multi node installation, but since you are mention laptops, i guess you ment the Desktop client.

Default Zimbra Desktop

It works great on one of my laptops, but I cannot get it to work on another one. It keeps saying that it is missing a vital component. I will try removing it and reinstalling it to see if that matters. I will also make sure I am working in Microsoft Explorer instead of Firefox. Some programs just don't seem to like Firefox.

Thanks for offering to help me.

Do you have the exact error message saying missing a vital component? What platform are you on, and can you send a screenshot of the error?
