Inline embed feature (where the pic is in the message itself) is available in ZCS 6.0 > upcoming ZD 2.0 will be from that codebase.

vs in ZD 1.0.3 (ZCS 5.0) currently only possible to insert via URL:

Obviously that 'put in a docs folder' directions only works if there's a ZCS account where you can create a pubic documents folder, so some link to an 'external image hosting site' like imageshack, tinypic, etc.

Unhappy Does not work in 6.0 nor 6.0.1

The feature still does not seen to work completely. I tried with IE8 and FF3.5, none would accept the image. It looks to get uploaded in the briefcase, but even in the briefcase it's shown as a missing image.

The size is updated though.

Default from the briefcase

Hi,

You can upload the image to your briefcase and use that url
Code:
eg: https://domain.name.com/home/user@domainname.com/Briefcase/imagename.jpg
Also, remember to format your mail as HTML.

Is there a workaround to attach an image in signature inline using Zimbra Desktop? Or better yet, any plans to add the feature?

Question Help me too please

I want to add my company logo, but I can't figure it out either. Also many emails now even include buttons to like FB, LinkedIn, Twitter etc as using ways to reach clients and potential customers. I thought Zimbra was the solution to my problem and it has a lot of good features - expecially where security is concerned. If anybody can help, I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks!

FreedomZ,
Have you tried a different web browsers such as FF or Chrome? I've seen issues with IE7.
