Default Packaging Zimbra Desktop into an RPM

I have a small repository that is based on Fedora and I would like to make an RPM out of the Linux install script so that i can include this into the repository I have 2 questions

1) is it legal for me to include said rpm into a repository that is publicaly avalible?

2) Are there any special things I need to be aware of when compiling the rpm?

Source that is the best way to compile a binary package as repackaging a binary into a different form can be a headache
