    Default Contacts won't save new mobile numbers

    I recently downloaded Zimbra Desktop and I really like it. I'm admittedly not very technical. My problem is in Contacts; I cannot save new numbers in the mobile number field. I enter the new mobile number, it highlights in blue and appears saved. When finished, I move between Mail and Contacts and the number appears saved. I quit ZD then reopen it and the numbers are still there. HOWEVER if I turn off the computer, restart it and open ZD, the mobile numbers are gone. What am I doing wrong? How do I fix this?

    I recently upgraded my Zimbra Desktop software. I had just completed the transfer of all contact data, including mobile numbers, into Zimbra. Due to the above issue, I put most mobile numbers into the Other Phone field, as it appeared that my "bug" would be solved in a later release. Apparently when I updated the software, EVERY NUMBER in the Other Phone field was erased. Is there some way to reverse this or to obtain the numbers? I now live outside the country; if the number wasn't in my Skype or on my local mobile, I no longer have them. I am VERY UNHAPPY with this result.

    Do you mean every number in the OTHER phone field disappeared within ZDesktop or the GMail web interface? We should never be deleting phone numbers, although if you have more than one OTHER phone number under a GMail contact only one field will appear within ZDesktop. The additional OTHER phone numbers will be not be sync'd by ZDesktop although they will still exist in your GMail contact.
