Zimbra 6.0 FOSS Backup?

Besides using the current backup solutions for open source zimbra is there any chance the backup feature will be implemented into the free version or any form of it in 6.0?

I would doubt it as that is one of the features of the NE version. You could always file a RFE over at Bugzilla Main Page.

One of the new features in 5.0.12 is the ability to export an account to backup. This is done on a per-account basis, and isn't automated.

We will not be including a backup feature in the FOSS version. There are features that we reserve for the NE, and although many people want something for free, that's not going to be one of the features we give away.

We don't take away your ability to backup, there are a ton of solutions to backup Zimbra. We sell convenience.

The ability to export an account to backup, where would that be located at? Would be pretty cool if you could just pay for the backup feature as an add on in the FOSS version.
