    Default Zimbra Desktop does not save in sent folder??

    I installed Zimbra Desktop. In options I checked save sent Email in sent folder and it does not save anything. The sent folder stays blank. Help?

    what version/build, what platform, and what service (yahoo, gmail, etc)?

    Default Zimbra Desktop does not save in sent folder??

    I have recently installed Zimbra Desktop and am having the same problem as reported in this thread originally by another user ie. Sent emails do get sent, but are not being stored anywhere in Zimbra Desktop that I can find them. I have checked the option for saving sent mail to the "Sent" folder.

    System Details

    Zimbra Desktop: I can't find any sign of an "about" section that reveals the version number. However, I installed the software on a Linux Ubuntu System (Version 8.04 "Hardy Heron") using the Zimbra Desktop Installer early this month (September 2009). I can send and receive emails using the email address available through my pre-existing POP3 email service provider (Exetel).

    I had this same issue. Make sure you [turn sync on] for your sent folder.

    Thanks for the reply. I've tried, but I can't work out how to turn sync on for the sent folder. Can you tell me? Note that I'm not (currently) keeping email on any online server.

    Right mouse click on the sent folder.... you will see turn sync on at the bottom. Note: If you are using a POP account, this option is not available.

    Thanks jrg. I guessed my problem might be related to only using a POP account. Do you (or anyone else out there!) know if there's a way to store sent emails in the "Sent" folder under this scenario?
