Hi, I have posted up issues I have with Zimbra desktop on Problems with gmail.

ok thank for the notice.
but i have bigger issues upgading from 2.0.0 to 2.0.1 whereby it seems oi have issues booting up the ZD.
Any idea, i am using win 7.
thanks for the notice, i was about to downgrade.
No response from anyone in Zimbra yet.
I have just upgraded to 2.0.1 and there are a myriad of problems. The more serious ones include:
* Duplicate download of emails
* Needing to re-start Zimbra each time I want to download new emails
I wish I had stayed with V1 as it was relatively stable.
[QUOTE=dilshad;211511]I think it would help if you made your beta versions more widely/readily available to downgrade becomes less likely due to a more robust upgrade.[/QUOTE}Beta versions of the software are posted on the downloads page, how much more 'widely available' can they be?
The "beta" of ZD2 has been and gone a long time ago, the current beta of the next release is available on the downloads page. If you're having problems I'd suggest you try that and make sure you read the documentation and the wiki articles on this release.

This post is in the wrong thread and about as useful as your original post about your 'upgrade'. There is little, or no, information that would allow anyone to offer you any advice and I d also guess that you didn't file any bug reports on the apparent problems. You're quite welcome to stay on the ZD 2 version and I guess that you realise there'll be no further upgrades or bug fixes on that version?
Regards
Bill
Thank you very much, Bill. You definitely WERE a help. Reading this reply, as well as several others you have sent to poor unsuspecting users, it made up my mind to DUMP ZD!
What's so wrong with the newest version that everyone is wanting to go back to an older version.
