The problems were reported by the following threads on this forum and only apply to *** Spanish (es) version ***.
Error in Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop starting in WinXP
The bug (Bug 33445 – missing xul resource strings for spanish version) has been fixed in coming beta release.
For any existing installation of beta 4, here are the steps to manually fix it:
1) Quit Zimbra Desktop app:
On Mac or Linux, just simply close the app window; on Windows, right-click on systray icon->Quit
2) Go to "xul chrome" directory:
On Mac, it's "macos/prism/Prism.app/Contents/Frameworks/XUL.framework/chrome>$ linux/prism/xulrunner/chrome"; On Linux, it's "linux/prism/xulrunner/chrome"; and On Windows, it's "win32/prism/xulrunner/chrome"
3) Delete "es.manifest" and "es.jar" found in "xul chrome" directory.
4) Unzip the content of "es_fix.zip", which is attached to this thread, to the same directory. You should see two new files there: "es-ES.manifest" and "es-ES.jar"
5) Restart Zimbra Desktop
