why can't i copy and paste hyperlinks and page links url (url's)

why can't i copy and paste hyperlinks and page links url (url's)...i.e. the original formatting

I put thing into a task management system on my desktop

How do i do it? as zimbra does not have any options in its window

I recieve an email with hypelinks, but when i try to copy a section and paste then it looses its links, is there anything that i can do (mac osx 10.5)
