How to set "Compose new message in a separate window" as default

I would like to know if there is a way to set composing new message in a separate window as default when you press the "New" button. Pressing Sift-C is the shortcut for that, but I would also like to have this also in the "New" button.

Set it in your user preferences on the Compose tab.
