we could create filter, but it moves msgs only to mail account folders not to Local folder. it doesn't show any path for that.

Create a filter to move it into a Folder and then you can select all at a time to move to the local folder from there.

I understand that the user can drag `n` drop any message to the local folder, but ... Did you find it difficult to make the ability to store mail locally and remove any messages from the server? Is it hard??? ... Or, open source does not allow???

If you can filter msg into a folder, and then drag-n-drop that folder to somewhere under Local Folder, do you think that helps ?

Critical: You cannot move the folder to the selected destination folder.

Yeah, I know that. We have a bug fixed folder move from under account to under Local Folder in 7.1.4, so in early Feb you can have a version that does what I said.

Default can't move filtered mail to a folder under mail account

I have a folder under a mail account (pop3 Hotmail) (not in local folder) and a I created a filter for mails to be moved automatically into this folder.
It doesn't work. Mails still stay in the inbox and are not moved to the folder.
Is filtering generally working ? and under which condition ? or the whole thing is going to be fixed in the next version ?
Regards.
