Zimbra account on free.fr

I can't use the offline version with a Zimbra account on the french provider free.fr.

The provider uses a customized authentication, as related in there :Zindus Blog Archive zimbra.free.fr (Zindus Blog Archive zimbra.free.fr). Quote: "free.fr is the third-largest ISP in France and is currently engaged in a 50,000-seat trial of Zimbra. The addon now supports the customized authentication required by free.fr."

Is this authentication implemented in Zimbra ?

Free are using the Open Source version of Zimbra, any modifications will be done by them and we have no knowledge of their plans or implementation. Have you tried contacting free support?

As usual with Free's free tools (their "own" Zimbra's implementation or anything else they provide for free), there's no support outside of the french Free community (freenews.fr, etc).

free.fr authenticate their users via preauth: Preauth - Zimbra :: Wiki

It means you won't be able to authenticate to free.fr using the offline version. You have to log on via their web page.
