i really did not think, that outgoing mails from zimbra mail desktop using an yahoo account
would have got ugly ad taglines. Using other mail Programs you do not have taglines. So whats the deal?
do you do it, because you want us getting yahoo mail plus, if we want ad free outgoing mails?

my ad tagline. does it not look ugly and unnessecary.
gmail do not add such ads, even using it as webmail.

Umm...I'd say yes. You'd likely find Hotmail, AOL and other free mail alternatives use the same approach. I don't think it is unreasonable given the costs involved to provide the service.

Google's service and revenue stream is a bit different.

taglines are not added everytime.
In some mails yes in others not.
So what is the criteria?

Zimbra Desktop does not insert these. It's a feature of yahoo mail. When do you see these? In your outgoing message you sent from Zimbra Desktop?

right, i see it in outgoing mails.
when i use zimbra client with yahoo mail.

i got couple of month ago, that yahoo stopped adding taglines to outgoing mails.
