    Is the GAL just not available when using Zibra desktop?

    GAL access for Zimbra Desktop will be available in the next release - both of these are resolved: Bug 25263 - Need GAL support in offline & Bug 31439 - gal sync OOME

    To connect to other LDAP directories please vote for: Bug 27015 - Request a method to add arbitrary LDAP server as shared (Read/Only) addressbook

    Does that GAL fix cover just Zimbra Desktop? Or does it cover Outlook 2000 as well?

    please note gal sync is for desktop only, and for zimbra mailbox only.
