Default What am I missing?

From the outset, Zimbra is looking great however we have a problem or two.

The majority of the features are in the webmail. This is fine, it's the flagship product.

We have users that are happy to use Outlook, this is their choice and they don't care about the extra features.

We have users that would love to use the extra features shown in the webmail, tagging, sharing items etc. But the problem is some of those are on laptops and do not always have an internet connection.

Aha, so we thought Zimbra Desktop would be the perfect solution as it seems to save all the data to the computer. Now we find that actually some features (the best ones??) are missing from this product. These features are searching through the GAL and sharing of folders.

Obviously in the sharing part things would need to be kept syncronised. I understand that.

However, are either of these features going to be added into the Desktop version in the forseeable future or is there an alternative?

GAL sync is coming and will be in the next beta.

Shared folders we are targeting 1.1, so it won't be in 1.0 GA.
