Default Can I Sync only NEW Yahoo mail on a new machine?

    Hi,
I've been using the same Yahoo account for years now - it contains over 8,500 messages. I started using Zimbra on one of my computers two days ago and after the first sync the space on disk taken by the old messages is over 1 GB. Which is fine there.
I'd like to use Zimbra on a second computer, a mini-laptop or netbook, with a very limited disk size. For this reason I'd like not to sync ALL the mail on the Yahoo server, but instead download only NEW messages. Is there a way to do so?
It seems that when I add a new account to Zimbra desktop the sync starts immediately with all the mail in theYahoo inbox (the only option I get is to sync all the folders, but no distinction between old or new messages).
    Thanks!

PS: I saw that under Options>Mail> Access from Other Mail Clients there's an option that reads "POP access: Allow only mail from now to be downloaded" but I don't think that's for Yahoo as Yahoo on Zimbra uses IMAP, correct?

yeah we only do imap with yahoo.

for what you need to do, you'd have to create other folders and move old messages to those folders.
