When Zimbra syncs with Yahoo!, it does not download all of my messages. Like in the inbox, Yahoo! says I have 1036 messages but Zimbra says I have 33 and Yahoo! says by outbox is 1228 but Zimbra only shows 1998. This pattern is constant throughout all of my folders.

After checking the logs it looks like there may be a consistency error in Yahoo's IMAP server. The IMAP server says 1039 messages exist but we can only fetch flags for 335 messages. I'll follow up with the YMail team and let you know what they say.

Thanks,
David

Ok, the YMail team identified the problem as a UID corruption issue specific to your account and has repaired your mailbox. If you reset your account data within ZDesktop (Account Settings -> Manage Data -> Reset) and try syncing again the problem should be solved.

Thanks,
David

Unhappy Is this patch required for latest build 91 release 1338

1. unzip the attach zip file.

2. copy the unzipped xmailManage.tag file to override the copy at <install>/jetty/webapps/zimbra/WEB-INF/tags/desktop/xmailManage.tag, where <install> is the folder you chose to install zdesktop.

3. delete everything under <install>/jetty/work but not the "work" folder itself. On windows you'll need to first shutdown the "Yahoo! Zimbra Desktop" service before you can delete the files there.

This patch is especially important to Yahoo! Mail users. Without it, you can not change settings on the Yahoo! Mail account setup page.
After upgrading Zimbra desktop to latest release (one which has address book and Live mail synchronization), it is constantly giving error while sync'ing with Yahoo mail server. I have a Yahoo mail plus account and will like to know whether any patch is required for the latest release (build 91 release 1338) also for yahoo web server proper sync.
