Default [SOLVED] Migrating offline files to another PC

I am using a PC and a laptop and have installed Zimbra desktop on PC. However, as I have a relatively slow connection, it took three days before the folders were synch'ed to my local drive on PC. I also want to use my laptop and ensure that the folders are synch'ed there too. Is there any way I can migrate the offline files from one machine to other without affecting anything adversely ?

we don't yet have a officially supported way to do this. but if you can use the exact same path on your second PC, you could do this. Assume on your first PC it's under C:\zimbra\zdesktop, follow the following steps:

1. on first PC shutdown backgroud service (right-click on tray icon)
2. on first PC zip up the following 5 folders under C:\zimbra\zdesktop:
derby, store, index, redolog, log
3. install zdesktop on second PC under the same path C:\zimbra\zdesktop
4. on second PC shutdown background service
5. on second PC delete the following 5 folders under C:\zimbra\zdesktop
derby, store, index, redolog, log
6. get the zip from first PC to second PC and unzip to so that the 5 folders from first PC is under C:\zimbra\zdesktop on second PC
7. run zdesktop on both PCs, and you are done.

Is there any mechanism to identify selective accounts from the offline files using the above mechanism while migrating to other machines. e.g. I want to migrate my yahoo plus premium account but do not want to migrate gmail account.

you can migrate everything over first, then delete the accounts you don't want from the new location.
