Default Missing in 6.0.4

I can't seem to find the Toaster in Zimbra 6.0.4 anymore.
Does anyone know where it went?

Or was it probably removed due to nont working properly anymore with Zimbra v6.x

That would be a major bummer

Starting with version Zimbra 6*, Toaster officially not supported.

In version 6.0.4. was removed.

Bug 42776 – Remove toaster from 6.0.x download package

Sorry to resurrect this old thread
So the toaster's been removed since it doesn't work with v6.
Are there any plans for a re-write or development on a new Zimbra Toaster?

IMO it's an essential part of a Zimbra deployment. Users of Outlook obviously wouldn't be bothered but if you're using Zimbra within a Prism bundle like I am, and like I'm trying to persuade as many of our users as possible, then the Toaster or some sort of client-side executable for integration is essential.
To override the mailto: handler (set it to a particular Prism window)
To provide system notifications on mail/tasks/appointments

But I even submitted this feature request: Bug 44466 – Toaster should have the option to update Zimbra IM presence/status
To have the Toaster able to update Zimbra IM presence status. So it can detect user idle/away and have custom timeouts. Also let the user set IM presence manually.
Basically like the Pidgin systray operates but all tied in to Zimbra and Zimbra IM.
Be amazing if the idle and away timeouts were set on the Zimbra server and the toaster uses those.

If the Toaster was offered as part of the NE license then that's cool as it would be proprietory Zimbra code. So long as there's at least a Windows and OS X version.

I think some sort of light-weight client-side executable is essential to make the user experience seamless for people who want to use the AJAX UI but not wanting the full-blown Zimbra Desktop.

Please say there are plans to resurrect some sort of official Zimbra toaster in the future?!!
