Zimbra Desktop and GAL

We are currently using Zimbra Version 5.0.6_GA_2313 on our server, and we have a few users testing Zimbra Desktop Beta2 (build 1119) as a possible Outlook replacement. Does this configuration support GAL, and if so how is this enabled in Zimbra Desktop. I have a user on Ubuntu and Vista, and both cannot access the GAL contacts, or see GAL addresses when composing new mail using Zimbra Desktop. Works fine using the web interface.

in 1.0 GAL support is not included. that's planned for a latter release. thanks!

When is 1.0 scheduled and when is 1.1 scheduled that will have GAL?

I agree...when will GAL support be included? I've already voted for the bug/enhancement. For Zimbra wanting to be an Outlook replacement, that sure is a big feature to be missing!
