Unhappy Saved Contact Weirdness

OK....

See if you can follow me here.

I have an email from a new employee. In the email I right clicked on his email address and hit edit contact.

I entered the information that I wanted under his contact and hit save. This saved contact information does not appear ANYWHERE. Not in my address book at least.

In order to retrieve this information I have to go back to any of my email correspondence with him and right click and hit edit contact.

Where is this being saved outside of emails to or from him? Is there a way to export the contact information to my address book?

Thanks!

It doesn't really 'save it on the email', does searching your address book pull it up? I gather refreshing the web-client & checking the address book folder it's in again was tried, and I assume you gave it a last or first name (as we previously didn't display contacts well that only had an email, now we display <No Name>) Does this persist after upgrade to 5.0.7?

Just my 2 cents...

When you view the contact, which address book does it say it is stored under?

Also, does it show up when you look at your address book via zmprov?

"zmprov sm account@domain.com gact"

We have also run into issues with browser cache can also be the culprit.

Hope that helps!

Cheers,
DJS

Other than the tab simply saying "Address Book" where else would it say what address book it is in? In the sidebar, neither of my address books are highlighted either.

When I view via zmprov it IS there, with all the details.
