Default Questions regarding clustering.

Hi all.

From reading the single and multi node clustering documents, I am a little unsure if it's possible to do the following:

1. An initial single node cluster install. (to get us up and running) with SAN storage connected.

2. 2nd multi node cluster installation - ie we buy a new server to add to the cluster and give us failover.

3.. future added nodes to cope with load.

Do I need to split this up again or is what I'm proposing going to be ok?

Also, must I use RedHat to do the clustering component, or can I use another distro, like Fedora or Ubunto LTS?

Answers are kindly appreciated.

At this time only RedHat Cluster Suite is supported.
