Default Zimbra Desktop and Kaspersky

I All

I have an account configured as IMAP

I have Kaspersky Business Space 6.0 installed

When Zimbra downloads messages with virus, KAV File Anti Virus detects a virus on [...]\store\incoming\xxxxxx.msg

Aparently Zimbra sees this as some kind of error and tries again moments later, so Zimbra and KAV keep this up forever until I delete from the server via webmail.

KAV does not allow me to exclude a dir from checking

Any ideias on how to fix this?

Thanks

Best Regards

I would imagine ZCD downloads the message again as it has not fully completed the download process. I would file a RFE about this as you do not really want to exclude that directory, incase a virus does get onto your machine. I think it is a tricky one.

Please vote for Bug 26240 – Desktop sync halts if antivirus blocks a message and provide a exception stack if possible to help the developer.
