Default Printing in Zimbra Desktop

Is anyone else finding that when emails are printed from the Zimbra Desktop the body of the email prints as gibberish? I have now observed this from two computers and to multiple printers. The same email printed from the AJAX client prints just fine. I did not see anything in the forums on this. If anyone has a solution it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Default Print Sample

Here is a scanned copy of the printed email. You will notice that only the body of the text is garbled. When I log into the AJAX client this same email prints just fine.

It is supposed to be in english. At first I thought that maybe it was a font issue on the computer of the user who first brought this to my attention. But then I found that I could duplicate the problem on my computer by using the Zimbra Desktop.

Can you right click on the e-mail and choose "Show original". Then paste the MIME in a txt doc, and post it here?

Also, where did this e-mail originate from? ZCS?

This one has no customer information in it.
It was originally from me, and generated in the ZCS AJAX client.
The attached pdf is what it looks like printed from the Zimbra Desktop.

I am experiencing similar problems. I get gibberish if I print a plain text email to my laser printer, or a pdf file using Acrobat Distiller, using Zimbra Desktop but the same email printed from the web client works fine.
FURTHERMORE if I open the Zimbra Desktop user interface using Firefox rather than through the normal PRISM wrapper it prints OK. So I suspect this is an issue related to PRISM.
I've been having this problem for some while - in the first Beta and in the present Beta release. I'd reported it to our IT department but apparently they have not passed it on to you!

OK that's possibly a prism issue then. The version we are using internally is with a newer version of prism and at least I can't reproduce this issue. So the next release should address this. Thanks!
