Default cannot edit zdesktop calendar

hi,

just trying the latest zdesktop beta 2 now, btw how can I tell what version of zdesktop I'm running? Is there a help about button hidden somewhere?

The problem is I cannot edit an appointment that I have added using Outlook or the web client.

I can edit the calendar appointment if it's added using zdesktop.

Is this something you guys know about and will be fixed in the next release?

Rey

Don't think there's an obvious way to do this today. Try entering "$set:get version" in the search bar, then hit ENTER. You should get a popup dialog with versioning info.

$set:get version will probably just return the below pic on your version:

What you can do is find it in a bunch of places (pretending your windows - adjust to ~/zimbra/zdesktop as needed):
drive:\zimbra\zdesktop\README.txt
drive:\zimbra\zdesktop\.install4j\installation.log
drive:\zimbra\zdesktop\.install4j\i4jparams.conf
drive:\zimbra\zdesktop\conf\localconfig.xml (zdesktop_buildid)
drive:\zimbra\zdesktop\win32\prism\application.ini
Control Panel > Programs and Features / Add Remove Programs

In Bug 26656 - offline - display of version info we've added an about dialog if you right click the prism title bar:

And you can also see the info on the title bar of the setup page:

I don't remember if this was a bug...
