Default [SOLVED] Zimbra multi mailbox server / accounts question

Hello,

I was reading through the wiki, zimbra architecture, internals etc and I can't figure out something.

If I want to scale the installation by placing multiple mailbox servers, is it possible to do something like:

- email account --> mailbox server mapping

or is it only possible to have

- Domain ---> mailbox server mapping

thus having all emails inside a domain mapped to the same mailbox server.

Can you help in clarifying my curiosity a bit

Thanks,
Mihai

You can define a "Server Pool" for each CoS.
So if you create a separated CoS for each domain...

But then can I also make the following ?

domain test.com

user1, user2, user3 @test.com - COS with assigned mailbox server 1

user 5, user 6 @ test.com - another COS with assigned mailbox server 2

for the same test.com domain ?

I'm google-ing a bit now about the COS term to see more.

Thanks.

And yes, you can have different CoS (Classes of Service) for the same domain.

I googled a bit when Krug answered and wasn't sure if Zimbra COS = Class of Service (I was used to it from switches ).

Thank you both.
