Seeing the GAL in Zimbra Desktop?

Maybe I'm missing something, but my Zimbra desktop is not letting me see the GAL at all when I'm connected to our 5.0.4 server. I can see the nicely populated GAL in the web-client, and the webclient UI gives me the autocomplete checkbox in PREFERENCES and shows GAL selections in the TO: pulldown... however that's all missing from the Zimbra desktop.

Thoughts?

Currently there's no GAL support for desktop. RFE already open for this: Bug 25263 - Need GAL support in offline

You might want to quickly change the desktop documentation to reflect this - Being unable to see the GAL might be considered by some to be a critical defect in a collaboration suite :-)
