Default more into

Sure

- I've installed the desktop client and am trying to set up desktop accounts using my existing Zimbra web account set up through my company

- I choose the Zimbra Account option and the required fields for setup include the Zimbra server and port info. I don't know what these are and can't find out where to look with the existing documentation

Thanks

The Zimbra server and port should be the same as what you are using for the web client. Have you tried those details ? Were you receiving a error message when you tried them ?

That's my problem - I have no idea what these are or how to find them.

To log in, I just go to zimbra.mindcentric.com and type in my u/n and p/w

Okay. I would try the following then :-

Zimbra Server : zimbra.mindcentric.com
Port : 80

if this fails to work then I would check with the sysadmin.

Unhappy Zimbra Desktop Client asks Zimbra Server

Hi,
As I have just installed the ZDC I'm configuring the Zimbra Server, but it refuses with the message "Please correct missing / invalid input" (please see attached image file). I have tried several ways to input the server name, but no luck.
I have also attached the ZDC install error log for your reference.
Thank you in advance!

So people like richiepear know where it went (when they get the email & go to reply) it's easier if you just post a 'I fixed it' message
