Actually there's already one filed that you can vote on: Bug 26239 - Tray icon for controlling Zimbra Desktop service

What's happening in the background is all of your mail is continuing to sync that way when you open a web-browser again it's all ready to use.

Closing the prism browser or other web-client doesn't halt the service. This convo was just had over at: http://www.zimbra.com/forums/zimbra-...hone-home.html

For instance if you really want to halt it:
Windows: run > services.msc & stop the process.
Mac: launchctl stop com.zimbra.zdesktop & launchctl start com.zimbra.zdesktop
Linux: ./zdesktop stop & ./zdesktop start

Default Another feature request

It would be nice if the bars that show the different accounts could change somehow when new unread mail is present on that server. Be it an icon change or simply displaying the number of unread messages (in the inbox or optionally some other folder) would be quite helpful. Just looking for something to tell me that one of the servers I have configured has new email instead of having to scan through each server manually.

Thanks!

What about syncing with internet calendars, like google calendars that aren't your primary calendar? (CALDAV calendars I guess this would be?)

I know that you can ad calendars that you can subscribe to an internet source, but this seems to be limited to calendars that use an atom/rss feed.
