Question Can I export ZIMBRA mails to pst format?

If it is possible to export my mails from ZIMBRA desktop or server to pst format or any other format?

If you use Outlook & ZCO to connect to the ZCS server, you'll get a PST (ZDB actually but they're the same inside).

Thanks - so I would be correct in stating that I'd need to download and install the Server and use the method you have outlined below?

Ooops, sorry.
I didn't see your question was about zDesktop.

You can go through Zimbra server or any IMAP server.
But I'm not sure Outlook is able to connect with IMAP.

Yes, outlook is able to connect to IMAP.

use a gmail account, manually transfer all your emails into that account from Zimbra, then set the account up in outlook and manually download all of your emails. pain in the butt but at least on the way you get a permanent online backup (gmail), and you may decide to keep the files you dont use all the time permanently on gmail.
