Here is the fix for "invalid password" issue. In next release, the installer will set it for you.

I had another go at it and it seemed to install ok with no error messages:

Yeah, for now installing zimlet requires restart of ZD backend service - in your case, restarting of your PC did the same.

Would a Zimbra Employee knowledgeable in Zimbra Desktop please post the EXACT directions and locations since the blog was sent out this morning and I've been unable to get it to work no matter where I put the zimlet. Thanks!

Do you get Zimlet installed successfully? At least on windows,

1. 
To start with, You must be running Zimbra Desktop

2. 
CD to..
C:\Documents and Settings\<USERNAME>\Local Settings\Application Data\Zimbra\zdesktop  (assuming that this is where zdesktop is installed)

3.

To undeploy..
all the steps are similar to deploy but the 3rd one.
