    Default [SOLVED] localization

Do you plan to provide localized version of zimbra desktop ?
If yes do you have an estimated date of release ?

We do. The plan is to have them available when GA (Q2). We don't yet know what languages will be included. Thanks!

    BTW...

If you take 5.0.2 translations and put them in the zDesktop correct folder, it just works (at least seems to 8)).
It doesn't work within Prism (that is "locked" in US English I guess) but works very nicely from Firefox...

I see the same bugs than using the server WebUI, this one for example: Bug 24266 - FR: Problem displaying account size in the webUI

Thanks to Julien (le roxxor de l'ombre), I now have zDesktop translated inside Prism 8)

    Steps to reproduce :
    • manually launch Prism : "c:\zimbra\zdesktop\win32\prism\prism.exe -uri about:config"
    • Accept warning 8)
    • Filter the config variables typing "lang"
    • Change intl.accept_languages to whatever you need (for my case : "fr, en-us, en" instead of "en-us, en")
    • Close Prism
    • Launch zDesktop frontend using its icon
    • Force reload of interface (shift + F5), enjoy

Don't forget to remove the default *fr_FR* files coming with zDesktop (or equivalent in your own language).

And for those who are a bit lazy, "correct folder" for Win32 is C:\zimbra\zdesktop\jetty\webapps\zimbra\WEB-INF\classes\messages (on a standard zDesktop install).

    Hi there,

I'm a newby using all the zimbra's software and recently I have installed both the Zimbra Collaboration Suite and the Zimbra Dektop, and I have completed sucessfully in both cases using the spanish translation with no problem at all, except for a little detail.

When I installed the Desktop version on a pc with Mozila spanish version as default browser I had no problem, but when I tried in my own laptop with Mozila english version and english language for default, the things doesn't work very well. I have changed the default language and even I have followed step by step the guide included and explained here but the problem is still on.

Did somebody had had a problem like mine?
