Default .53 After a few days

I have been using .53 for several days now and I really like it, except for 1 really big thing, it's much slower that using the web client directly.

I would expect performance here to be better that the web client.

It takes longer to open items, delete them, schedule events, tag, everything is slower on the desktop for me than working diredtly on the web client.

Anything that would help solve this?

Yes we are aware of the perf issues. It's somewhat related to the fact that zdesktop uses derby as the database which differs from mysql, so it will require special tuning. It's on the way. We'll improve performance before going GA. Thanks!

One more question.... I would continue to use teh desktop client and test it except for one thing, the Signatures don't work. They are not being saved.

Is this a kow issue? Or is it only me?
