Default Hangs on "Loading" screen
I just tried 0.51 off of my local network. When I start Zimbra with network connectivity, I get a hang on the "Loading" screen. I never get to the actual app. This is on Sabayon Linux with Firefox 2.x. Under Internet Explorer 6.0 it just hangs on a blank screen.

I'll test later with Internet Explorer 7 and then do all 3 with no active connection.

Has anyone seen this issue?

Do you have any saved "keyboard shortcuts"? If so, then most likely you are blocked by this:

Bug 18480 - zdesktop stuck on loading screen with js error of "str.split not a function"

I just tried a re-install, so we'll see how that goes.

I don't have any saved keyboard shortcuts.

Default See same problem on XP sp2
Hi, seeing the same problem. After initial install the desktop work but after closing and restarting it does not. Tried to restarting the zd from cmm but still would not load in browser. I can un-stall and then re-install and works.

From the other thread, that isnt titled with anything that would make you think it has to do with this bug:

A bug has been filed for this blocking issue:

Bug 18987 - zdesktop 0.51 blocking issue : Bug 18987 - zdesktop 0.51 blocking issue

We already know what the cause is. It's trivial to resolve, but we are looking for a way to provide a patch without requiring reinstalling/resync is possible. Thanks!

Looks like we'll need to do a new release as there is no way to re-release without a reinstall/resync. We should get a fix out soon.
