Android 2.0 - IMAP - multiple sent copies

We just got several Motroola Droids here and not being an M$ house and calendar still being Oracle CollabSuite, we configured IMAP for email.

Problem is, every message sent from the phone results on a new copy being added to the Sent folder on EVERY connect. If the phone is set to sync every 5 minutes, you get a copy of the email every 5 minutes.

Working with support on this as we need to find a resolution QUICK to determine if we need to return these phones. Exchange is not working either (see bug https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=42482).

Seems to be an imap issuue. The message has the same MSGID for all copies.

Hi,
I want to encourage all international users of Zimbra Network Edition and Zimbra Mobile to vote for this bug:
Bug 33506 – Charset and Encoding problem on reply (http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=33506)

This bug was opened almost an year ago and still nothing has happend from Zimbra. We need to put pressure on the Zimbra team to have this bug fixed asap. As a Scandinavian Zimbra provider a lot of our customers have special characters in their name and it's quite embarrassing to not support this.

So with this post I encourage the community to help us to get Zimbra's attention on this.

Thank you in advance.

I got my fancy new Moto Droid and love it.

I am trying to run the mobile verzion of Zimbra (6.0.2) on it, and it seems reasonable. Except that after browsing around my email for a little while it seems to revert back to really small unreadable text. I can of course zoom in with the browser, but how can I keep it in the small mobile profile?

(just to be clear, it continues to use the mobile interface)

Nokia E52 Zimbra

Hi

I am using a Nokia E52 and have successfully setup my mail account on the device.
The problem I am experiencing is that I am unable to send mail. I assume the reason
Is due to the fact that the outbox folder does not sync to the device.

Every time I try to send a mail I receive an error saying “email not sent”
The e-mail that I want to send is then stored in the “drafts” folder.

How do I resolve this problem...?

All responses will be gladly appreciated.

Thanx
Zetty

CalDAV iPhone 3g 3.1 meeting reminders always on

I have tested both CalDAV and Subscribed calendar accounts and received different experiences in regards to reminders and mounted calendars.

CalDAV gives a "read only view" with updates to whatever calendar accounts we have mounted on the Zimbra web client. With CalDAV, I receive meeting reminders from calendars that I subscribe to along with my own. A co-worker tested this on his iPhone and had the same results.

Here is the URL we use for CalDAV account:
https://servername:443/pericipals/users/username@.edu

Subscribed calendars account are "read only" as well, and they work fine because there is an option to turn off meeting reminders in each account. Subscribed calendars do require that you setup each individual calendar account while CalDAV simply imports the same calendars that one has mounted on the web client.

Here is the URL we use for Subscribed calendar accounts:
Servername.edu/home/users/username@.edu/Calendar

Has any one with iPhone 3.x using CalDAV had this issue or is there something I am missing ? I am not the server admin and working with CalDAV and Subscribed is new to me. Is this normal behavior for CalDAV and iPhone?

My goal is trying to get the mounted calendar functionality of CalDAV and the ability to disable reminders like in Subscribed calendars, all in one package. The CalDAV account would be great if we could disable the meeting reminders on mounted calendars like with Subscribed calendars.

Zimbra Version 5.0.19
iPhone OS 3.1.2

Thank you,

Motorola apparently briefly posted (http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2009/10/22/motorola-droid-makes-appearance-on-motorolas-site/) the specs for the upcoming Verizon Droid (http://phones.verizonwireless.com/motorola/droid/?cmp=OTC-Droid-redirect1) phone on their Web site before taking it down which revealed that the device will have MS Exchange synchronization support. I'm wondering if this may mean that is will work with Zimbra's EAS support out of the box or if Zimbra support is otherwise planned.

Blackberry sync with Outlook problems after migration to Zimbra Collaboration Server

Ever since our company migrated to the Collaboration environment I have been unable to sync my Blackberry with Outlook.
We have the Outlook connector installed.
Outlook 2007 (12.0.6514.5000) with SP2 installed (12.0.6425.1000)
Blackberry Desktop Manager V 5.0.0.11

Launch Blackberry Desktop Manager, go to configure synchronization, launch wizard, setup Calendar, Zimbra profile appears on the list, finish the process and get the following error "Folder is no longer part of the system data source or the folder could not be found."

This is after a re-install of BDM 5.0. When I originally tried this operation prior to the re-install, once I chose the Zimbra profile I was able to go into the "Advanced" area of setup and try and map the Calendar sync to the Calendar within the Zimbra profile. I got the message that the data file was a "leaf" and that there were no sub-folders with which to map.

Tried searching all the forums with no luck...

Please help if you can...

Thx
