Default Does the Zimbra Connector for Evolution support Calendar and Contacts?

I've just installed the Zimbra Connector for Evolution under openSUSE 10.2. It works for my IMAP e-mail, but I don't get any entries showing in the Calendar nor in the Contacts, although both the Calendar and Contacts show an entry in the left-hand pane for my Zimbra account, suggesting that Evolution is aware that Zimbra supports these.

Should Calendar and Contacts be working, or not? Thanks,

Cheers, Tony.

Oh. Well they aren't, not for me, anyway. They show up as IMAP folders with bogus entries, and don't populate Evolutions calendar and contacts. This is under openSUSE 10.2. Is there any dependency on the version of Zimbra? Thanks,
Cheers, Tony.

Default Same issue for me

I am having the same issue. We are running NE 4.5.5 on Ubuntu 6.07 LTS. Evolution is 2.10.1.

I tried both port 80 and 443 for my SOAP connection. When I try to access calendar or contacts it asks for a password. I put in my mail password and it asks again. Zimbra is set up on port 443, that works for the Outlook connector.

Any suggestions?

I can't see any contacts or calendar either. I look at the plugins setup and a saw a listing for zimbra that refferenced contacts and calendars. It was unchecked, as soon as I tried to check it evolution crashed and I've been unable to restarted it (I get a seg fault each time)

For most of you, the problems you are having are probably a result of the ssl connection not being established because of certificate problems. I just checked in a temporary fix for that...a more complete fix is coming soon.

For user jpcaldwell...what distro are you running on? And what version of Evolution?

Did you install from a package or did you build the source?

I built from source using esoleyman's patches from here Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) Package
(I couldn't use his .deb because I'm running AMD64)

Ah. We have an open bug (http://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=17231) on that. Our connector doesn't seem too happy on 64 bit distros. We're looking into that.
