Can I suggest that you point the link in the first post to the latest version? It points to a page on your site that seems to have a dead deb link..

Keith
I have updated the above link. Thanks for pointing that glaring problem out.

Default Question

I see the newly created Calendar and Address Book which goes along with the imap account. However, none of my calendar entries are in there and non of the addressbook entries are there. Right now Evolution is downloading emails for offline use, will my Zimbra connector schedule to download the entries or should they be there automatically?

Also trying to add a contact or a calendar entry doesn't bring up any form to enter the data for the zimbra connected calendars and addressbooks.

I'm having a little problem with the connector + my setup.

I have a server at email.blah.com
I create users under the domain blah.com

When I enter in the user information it asks for server and username

Well, it merges the server and username which would be fine...but then the email address is not actually correct.(blah@email.blah.com = wrong).

So for now I'm just making an alias for each user for email.blah.com

Thank you very much for making this plugin.

Default AMD64 Evolution Zimbra?

Hi,

I've been able to get it to build against 2.10.1 on Ubuntu AMD64, but, like the poster above, it causes Evolution to immediately core dump. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ben

We currently have an open bug (bugzilla bug 17231) on getting the Evolution Connector to work on 64 bit machines. At this point, we have no hard and fast ETA for a fix.

Thanks,

Scott

I think I'm having the same issue as 2 guys up.. ( I'm using 7.04 )

My username is me@mydomain.com so now the string being passed is to:

me@mydomain.com@zimbra.emailserver.com

and that ain't going to work.

Can you link to any older versions of the .deb file? I've used this successfully in the past.

TIA

Keith

Is there any update about 64bit platforms?

I really don't want to use 32bit...

I'm having the same problem as you with an SVN checkout from the zimbraevo sf.net project. I'm also getting the same contact error messages as your next post. This is on Fedora 7.

I've tried the package, I've tried building from source, each time I end up with only mail, no contacts or calendar. Unfortunately those are the key items I need, as I need to sync this data to my Treo. I'd go the route of Thunderbird, which I prefer, if you could sync in Linux, but apparently this is a big area of few options. You either use Gnome-pilot with Evolution or JPilot, neither of which offer support for Thunderbird.

Back to the issue, I don't see any errors, I just don't get data. Ideas?
