I had a conversation with Solaris over IM.

It is true that notify URL Is broken currently. We had a mysql issue that actually took down zimbra.com, support, bugzilla, etc. So, we had to kill it temporarily.

Solaris expressed his belief that it hasn't worked for suse for quite a while, but I'm not convinced of that. Also, it should be noted that install notifications aren't always good indicators as users are given a choice. We also track download numbers, and it's still the least downloaded of all the flavors.

Also, Zimbra (especially Zimbra's Engineering team) remains unaffected by the layoffs. Zimbra is one of Yahoo's Big Bets.
