I can't see that happening. OWA and Exchange obviously play very well together. I'm not sure how much overhauling Zimbra would need to work directly with Exchange. And OWA likely has features that the Zimbra web side doesn't. (from being around longer and being built to work with Exchange)

OWA may have some "niceties" however administration controls is reduced, interop with platforms outside of Microsoft is imposible, Disaster Recovery is a nightmare, moving to a new server is an all weekend option, etc. If MS controls Zimbra, I will move our company to a new solution again. Not looking forward to another migration, however refuse to deal with MS controlling our ability to manage/require use of their product lines only in order to expand basic offerings.

Well, it's all speculation at this point anyway.

But is anyone else having visions of Bill Gates walking up to Homer Simpson saying he's going to "buy him out"?
