Default Any Domino expert ?

This might not be the best place to post, but I'll try 8)

We're migrating a customer from Domino 5 to ZCS.

Actually, we're waiting for Outlook to be setup on the users PCs to start the migration by itself (several weeks to wait).

But, the top managers want to use ZCS' webmail (they loved the demo) for external (roaming) access.

So the idea is to setup some accounts for them in ZCS and get the accounts to "fetch" the mails from Domino's LDAP.

We have an issue with Domino's LDAP.
IMAP is enabled in Domino, the "internet password" is enabled (and known), the "external email address" is correct.

Login in Domino's LDAP is partly OK.
The user/password is OK (it throws another error when it's wrong).
But it immediatly gives an error "Code 33:29".

Obviously, no idea of what the code number means and/or how to fix it...

Any hint ?

Whats throwing the error ZCS client? I did what your doing and ended up using imapsync to get it done right. However, imapsync only does the email. I used ZCS Domino tool to move the address book which was my sticky one.

The ZWC throws another error I don't have handy right now, I'll try to get it ASAP ("auth error" or something).
I used a telnet session to the IMAP server and got this error.

Hi,

If the mailbox is over 1600 Mb, you can use the connector "DAMO" Domino Access for Microsoft Outlook" whom replica the base nsf in a pst file.

Regards.

Hein ?

I don't want to access one mail database through Outlook (I have tools to convert the NSF to PST).

I want to be able to log in the IMAP server of Domino 8-(

Merci !

On peut continuer à utiliser la base avec son client "standard" ?

Yes, you can !
About DAMO you can use this for export a database nsf to pst !

Oui ... tu peux ...
Par rapport à DAMO tu peux l'utiliser pour exporter ta base au format pst.

Migration is postponed (they want to setup the new PC for users before leaving Notes).

We'll try to change the database format on a couple database next week, in order to be able to access them through IMAP.
