| | | MS offering to buy Yahoo ??? Microsoft just offered 45B$ for yahoo.
I hope you know the *level* of disappointment we would be in with our Zimbra purchase if this happens. Let's keep finger crossed. I'd love to hear what you, Zimbra guys, think of this... |

| | | Microsoft is here.... What now....?
Invest on Zimbra deployment as a (real) alternative to Exchange...??? I'm not sure.
Less expensive, more productive, based on standards.....until when?
I also cross my fingers... |

| | | MS buys Yahoo? We want Zimbra GPLed NOW! Hello,
These rumours about ms buying Zimbra are very scary. There is NO way that ms would support software for Ubuntu, Solaris or other Windows concurrents. There is NO way that ms would continue support for Zimbra.
There is no way a company forks Zimbra under the current license.
We are a paying customer, for 8 months now. We are very scared of having done the mistake of our lives, as we are just 80% complete in our migration.
The only way to have Zimbra continue to live is to have ZImbra GPLed. |

| | The OSS version of Zimbra is just that, Open Source. Whatever happens there should be no change in that status.

| | | What with Zimbra if it becomes part of Microsoft Just in: Microsoft! bids! $44.6bn! for! Yahoo!
What will happen with Zimbra if this deal goes trough?
I have invested in Zimbra quite a large amount of time and risked my reputation here in the company were we use it. I feel at the moment very frustrated!

In our case we are orienting our customers to migrate from Exchange to Zimbra....And we are on a test transition with one of them. Imagine what this would means for us.
I'm really worried about that. |

| | | The first think I though of when I read the headline was, Uh oh, what's going to happen to Zimbra, the BEST alternative to exchange...
