Default Zimbra 5.0.2 not delivering mail - Antivirus is DOWN

    Hi there,

I have a huge problem. My Zimbra stop delivering email's because I think, antivirus is down.

I already try to update CLAMAV and i have 0.96 version, all the 3 files are updated.snaps.doc

I already have 200.000 messages in 2 days.

What should I do? I'm new on Zimbra.

    Thanks in advance.

Your current version of Zimbra is no longer supported, why are you not on a more recent release? You need to look in the log files to see the reason that is causing the problem for A/V not running. There are also threads in the forums on this topic if you'd also like to take a look at those.
    Regards

Yes, you can certainly do that but I wouldn't recommend upgrading ZCS to solve any problem. An upgrade needs to be planned and you should read the Release Notes to confirm which interim versions (you may) need to upgrade to before the final version - in addition you may need to upgrade hardware as the current versions (ZCS 8) are only supported on 64bit platforms.

You need to resolve this problem first, what's in the log files?
    Regards

I've already said you shouldn't upgrade software (any software) to try and fix a problem. Why do you think an upgrade will fix the problem? You need to look in the log files and see what the exact error is when you start ZCS.

    Hi there,

    Problem SOLVED.

The executable ClamAV was missing.. dont ask why.... We have reinstaled CLAMAV 0.96

The big error was in MTA Trusted Networks: I only have my External IP, and 127.0.0.1

When i put my External IP/32 and 127.0.0.1/32 It worked in the second.

    Thanks for all, especial BILL.

I remembered having this issue with clamav around 2010. Maybe you could try setup external antispam and antivirus?
