Same here. Deleted Yahoo and Re-setup. Does not work (does not authenticate with Yahoo)

Nothing is likely to get fixed by posting in these forums, you should always go to bugzilla and see if any report has been filed or file a new one if a search finds nothing.

We reported here because this is where the link in the error takes us to.

That's fine but these are Community supported forums, bug reports (such as this problem) go in bugzilla. If you don't want to file one that's fine with me.

It would be an idea to add a link in the bug report to this particular forum thread.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to chime in!

Seems like a few experienced the problem at almost exactly the same time I did. As a new user I did not notice any update from Zimbra but don't know if I would have so I am assuming, like others, that Yahoo had made some modification.

I will try the bugzilla route and also be on the lookout for any reports of Yahoo changes around 6:00 EST yesterday.

    Thanks again!

Is Yahoo Mail down? Check status and report outages at downrightnow shows some significant downtime yesterday although I could reach my mail via the web, Zimbra would not sync nor recreate the account so those who suspected a Yahoo source of the problem seem to be on solid footing. The question of course is which entity will fix it?

I had the same problem. I tried Opera Mail and that has the same issue. So, I'm of the same opinion as most here that this problem is the result of a change within Yahoo. However, I installed 'eM Client' and it's sync-ing. The auto-sync does produce a pop-up error message (probably related to the same issue) but it still syncs even after selecting cancel on the message pop-up. Messages are sent and recived OK. I've turned auto-sync off for now and sync manually so that I only have to deal with the pop-up once each time I want to send or receive my new email. It's a workaround that I can live with until the Yahoo issue is fixed.

For me, this has been a blessing in disguise. I'll probably ditch Zimbra now and stick with eM Client as I think it's better in many other ways. Sometimes the inefficiency and laziness of one supplier cause us to seek and find a better alternative. Downside? Only two accounts permitted when you use the free version.
