Default "Ghost" unread emails problem

I'm using ZDesktop 7.1.2 on ubuntu 11.10 64 bit.
I set up with MS Exchange server 2010 using Exchange IMAP protocol.

I occasionally have a problem of ZDesktop saying there are unread e-mails in my Inbox, e.g. showing Inbox(3) on both the window title and Inbox name, although there is absolutely NO new emails when I directly log on to the web mail management.

This disappears when I "reset" the whole mailbox, but I'm very tired of doing it as it happened almost every week.
I uploaded the log file: (It will be deleted after 2 weeks.)

Could you please fix this error as soon as possible? Thanks!

If you use another IMAP client against this account and remove a message you will have a problem unless you purge the account, is that likely to be the case?

No, usually if I delete e-mails from another client and press "send/receive" button in ZD, the unread email sign disappears.

In the current case, however, it happened immediately after deleting 12-13 emails in Inbox folder on my ZD. All emails were removed correctly but my ZD still says there are 3 unread emails.

Is there a way to show only "unread" emails in ZD so that I can locate them?
I scrolled down the first 450 mails but couldn't find any.

Thanks.

You can use the search field to specify which email you see, for unread mail use this (and hit enter):

Code:
is:unread
