Default Not fixed yet

If you are new to Zimbra Desktop, you need to get version 7.1.1. As a stand alone product, the 7.1.2 calendar doesn't work. The bug was reported in late September of 2011. As far as I know of, they haven't fixed that yet. At least that was the case when I installed 7.1.2 on 1/20/2012. I found an archive of 7.1.1 and it works just fine. I do not know if the users who connect to a Zimbra server have the same problem. I was just looking for a free alternative to Outlook.

Default

If you are using GMail or Yahoo for your calendar then the calendar works fine in 7.1.2, but for some reason the local calendar doesn't work. Zimbra Desktop 7.1.1 does work for the local calendar, but it doesn't work well with Yahoo sync. Hopefully, 7.1.3 or a later release will address the calendar issues so we can have both working.

Edit: I searched in the Bugzilla database for ZD and found this: https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=65069. It says it is fixed in ZD 7.1.4 (build 11210) which is still in development.
