Default

Same/Similar problem here.

OS: XP SP3
ZD: 7.0.1

Just installed ZD 7.0.1; immediately after install ZD launched without issue. It did not bring in accounts from old version of ZD, which was still installed. I recreated the accounts in new version, they synchronized and all was well in that respect.

After shutting down ZD overnight, it will not launch. Desktop shortcut startin:
Quote:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\cscript.exe "C:\Program Files\Zimbra\Zimbra Desktop\win32\zdrun.vbs"
Window flickers in background, then nothing else occurs.

If launched manually, zdrun.vbs errors out at line 230:
Code:
Set oReg=GetObject("winmgmts:{impersonationLevel=impersonate}!\\.\root\default:StdRegProv")
with the error:
Quote:
The remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable: 'GetObject'
with code:
Quote:
800A01CE
.

If zdclient.exe is launched manually, the window opens with timer circle, runs a long time then errors out as posted by panduka.

I never had this issue with any of the Yahoo! versions; only after installing the VMware version. That is not said to make any statement against VMware version, only to specify in case there are significant differences in the code. I think there's some other issue at hand, though, as we're on very different versions with what appears to be the same basic problem.
