Default Filter On Outgoing Mail Not Working

v7.1.1 (build 10867)

I have a simple filter on incoming message filters tab using the "From:" field so that it moves mail from a specific sender to another folder. It works great.

But I used the same filter on the outgoing message filters tab using the "To:" field to move messages to the same folder and it does not work at all.

Is this a bug?

Does anyone on the Zimbra development team read this?

I would like to contribute more to finding out the cause, but with no response I don't know what else I can do.

Is there more information I can provide? Is there somewhere else I can post this so that it gets more attention or is more helpful to the development team? Is there any other way I can help other than just leaving this thread here?

I understand the development resources are limited, but without even an acknowledgment that the developers are aware of this issue, it's very frustrating for users. It's kind of like being lost in the wilderness and you don't even know if anyone knows you are missing.

If anything can be done to narrow this communication gap it would be appreciated.

Thank you.

They do when they have the time but these forums are Community supported forums not official Zimbra technical support. If you have a problem then you should file a bug report with as much information about the problem that you can gather.

It works for me. Did you uncheck the "Do not process additional filters" checkbox ?

No, I didn't uncheck it.

"Do not process additional filters" is checked.

Are you saying it should not be checked?

I have it checked in my incoming filter and it works properly. But my outgoing filter doesn't work.

Actually either way works for me. I understand the problem, but I need to be able to reproduce it so I can help...

I almost forgot to thank you so much for trying to help! Thank you!

Hmmmm... I am not sure what else I can tell you that might help you reproduce it.

I have 4 yahoo accounts and one gmail account set up in my Zimbra. The outgoing filter is on one of the yahoo accounts. Not sure if that is of any help but it's all I can think of atm.

I tried deleting the filter and reentering it, and I tried renaming it. Still no joy.
