Just tried this exact same filter on another mail account. The first one was on a yahoo account, this one is on a gmail account.

The result is the same. It works on the incoming message filter, but not on the outgoing message filter.

On the incoming I have:

"From" "matches exactly" and abc@def.com in the match field.

"File into folder" EE <folder name

Everything else is default. It works fine.

In the outgoing I have:

"To" "matches exactly" and abc@def.com in the match field.

"File into folder" EE <folder name

Everything else is default. No joy.

Frustrating. I have no idea what the problem could be.

I assume that filing the incoming and outgoing into the same folder is not an issue right?

What the heck could it be?

Can anyone else reproduce this problem?

Thank you for trying!

Thank you!

I don't feel nearly as incompetent now.

(Although I probably am.)

This still doesn't seem to be working in 7.1.2 when I tried it with my yahoo account.

Can anyone tell me if this is an oficially known bug and if it is on the list of needed fixes?

Thank you.

You are right. This is something missing. I just filed one bug, https://bugzilla.zimbra.com/show_bug.cgi?id=65498

Thanks.

Thank you. I appreciate that. I am a little flustered by bugzilla and have not had a chance to figure it out yet. Since I have not used it, I don't want to just barge in and post something (even if I am allowed to which I am not sure I am) and tick everyone off because I missed something.

So I really appreciate your assist!
